DESCRIPTION:SIGN UP\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin EJ Merritt in Creating Your Own Costume for Mall Fest 50\nHelp to contribute to the 50th Anniversary Parade as a representation of AspenOUT.    \n\nThe Mall Fest 50 Art Parade is coming on June 27! \n \nJoin Aspen Public Art for a hands-on workshop to create your own costume\, mask\, or prop for the parade. The theme of the parade is “What do you LOVE about this place?” – a creative invitation to come together and bring joy to the streets.\n \nArtist/educator Reina Katzenberger and her team at The Project Shop will help participants create wearable art to don for the Art Parade. Basic supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring reclaimed\, recycled and/or compostable fabric\, materials\, and ornamentation that they would like to upcycle into their fits and kits. \nWhat will volunteers do?\nEJ will lead this project. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages will be available\, as will food for sale from food trucks each week. \nNo outside alcohol is permitted inside the concert venue. Doors open at 5:30pm\, and concerts begin at 6:30pm. Grab dinner in the Village before the show or pack a picnic to enjoy inside the venue. \nFeaturing Low Cut Connie\, with Garland Burton opening. \nThe Aspen Art Museum and Pitkin County Library will also participate at Fanny Hill in Snowmass for a special tutu-making workshop! Participants will create their own twirl-worthy tutus using colorful tulle. We’ll guide you through the steps to layer\, tie\, and decorate your tutu\, ensuring you leave with a fabulous piece to showcase during Pride events!
