Party to the Polls
Partner Event: Party to the Polls
Wednesday, October 21 • 4-7PM
TACAW at Willits
Aspen One is hosting a Party to the Polls in partnership with the ACLU to help turn out the vote and educate locals about the ballot. It will be Wednesday, October 21 from 4pm to 7pm. The RFV includes 40+ candidates and ballot measures, including measures related to climate change, LGBT+ rights, immigration, and democracy. We’ll have experts from local nonprofits, including AspenOUT, ACES, Mountain Bio, Mountain Action Indivisible, and more, to walk through the ballot measures related to their work. We’ll have free pizza and prizes!
No matter who you are, where you come from, who you love, or how you move, the outdoors belong to you!
About AspenOUT
AspenOUT is dedicated to empowering the LGBTQIA+ (Q+) community and their families across the Roaring Fork Valley, nationwide and worldwide via digital curricula. Through innovative programming, vital resources, and strategic financial support, we champion the well-being of all queer individuals—lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and beyond—fostering a culture of understanding and belonging. We alleviate the financial barriers to essential specialized therapy for families, cultivate the potential of Q+ youth through empowerment initiatives and collegiate scholarships, and build a vibrant community for adults and allies through engaging programs.
