Board Member, AspenOUT
lgbtq youth programs and scholarships
I moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2023 with my fiancé, Ryan, and our two dogs, Gemma and Peyton. From the moment we moved here full-time, I was eager to find ways to connect with the community, and AspenOUT was the perfect fit. Now, heading into my fourth year on the board, I continue to be inspired by the organization’s commitment to building community and creating meaningful change across the Valley.

AspenOUT’s impact extends far beyond Aspen Gay Ski Week, with year-round programming and vital mental health initiatives that support LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages. Suicide rates are disproportionately high in mountain towns, and even more so among queer youth. That reality fuels my passion to ensure that everyone, especially those who may feel unseen or unsupported, knows they matter deeply and have material support.

Professionally, I work in eCommerce strategy, but outside of the office, you’ll find me making the most of mountain life: sneaking in lunch laps on Tiehack, hiking Highlands Bowl, hitting the tennis courts, or squeezing in a quick nine on the course. I’m also a lover of the arts and feel lucky to live in a place with such vibrant visual and performing art scenes.

Being part of AspenOUT has been a gift. It’s a reminder that community is built with intention, joy, and love—and that a little bit of support can go a long way.

Contribute today.

Your contribution will help save lives with direct mental health services.

AspenOUT is respectfully requesting that you dig deep. No amount is too small. Give whatever you can.

Every dollar donated will go to non-profits, designated by Jack’s family, that support the mental health of Q+ community. Save a young person’s life. Please help make a difference.

About AspenOUT

AspenOUT is dedicated to empowering the LGBTQIA+ (Q+) community and their families across the Roaring Fork Valley and worldwide via digital curricula. Through innovative programming, vital resources, and strategic financial support, we champion the well-being of all queer individuals—lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and beyond—fostering a culture of understanding and belonging. We alleviate the financial barriers to essential specialized therapy for families, cultivate the potential of Q+ youth through empowerment initiatives and collegiate scholarships, and build a vibrant community for adults and allies through engaging programs.
