    HeadQuarters Mental Fitness Fair Mental Fitness is the purposeful practice of taking care of your mind. Through this we gain the tools and skills to cope with everyday stressors, creating the resiliency to thrive. This collaborative event is designed to provide community members the opportunity to explore different modalities they can use for their mental fitness and discover mental health resources offered from Aspen to Parachute. Event Rundown 11:00 Fair Kickoff Vendors/Organizations from Aspen to Parachute will come together to highlight the tools and resources they provide to encourage Mental Fitness 11:00 – 4:00 Carnival Games Fun for the whole family! 1:00 – 1:30 HeadQuarters Special Announcements 1:30 – 2:00 Competition Lawn Games: Egg-Spoon Race (all ages), Tug-of-War, Kettle Bell Challenge 3:00 – 4:00 Breakout Workshops Workshop sessions that encourage positive Mental Fitness. Finding practices that work for you can be costly and overwhelming. These short sessions will allow people to discover tools and resources that may work for you. Want to get involved?     On the 4th Tuesday of each month, The Art Base and AspenOUT welcome our local LGBTQIA+ community and allies come together to socialize, make art, network, and have fun with or without an adult beverage. The class will feature a variety of projects in a variety of media. All levels are welcome. You will feel comfortable exploring creativity if you have no experience making art and have fun if you are an accomplished working artist, all in a safe environment, which is why Creations and Libations was conceived. $20/class.   • One Colorado’s 2023 Queer Youth Summit

    One Colorado is excited to bring back the Queer Youth Summit this year! The Summit is a 1-day forum welcoming LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, parents, and educators for speakers and workshops to learn, share, dialogue, and connect in support of LGBTQ+ students. About the Queer Youth Summit One Colorado developed the first Queer Youth Summit in 2014 to establish create a welcoming and safe environment for LGBTQIA+ students in Colorado schools to address the issues and challenges they face. Over the years we have partnered with Gender & Sexuality Alliances (GSA) and students across the state to create a forum for students, parents and guardians, and educators to gather, learn, and dialogue through various workshops, panels, and interactive sessions. Participants have the opportunity to interact with peers and mentors, meet new people, share their experiences, shift and deepen their understanding,  and improve their capacity to promote constructive change for LGBTQ+ students in Colorado.     SOPHIA CATTO- OH MY GAUDI: A NOUVEAU PERSPECTIVE ON RECYCLING All levels welcome. Supplies included. We will create recycled sculptures inspired by the iconic architect Antoni Gaudí is an exciting and artistic way to explore eco-friendly art. Gaudí’s work is known for its organic and whimsical forms, making it a great source of inspiration for environmentally conscious art. What’s more, even though Gaudí and his modernist contemporaries lived over 200 years ago, they actively used recycled materials in their high-end designs.
