Join AspenOUT as we welcome and help sponsor a fantastic new film, ‘ECHOES IN THE CANYON’ with Mikah Meyer.
AspenOUT is proud to present the Friday Night Film Program at 5 Point’s Flagship Festival on Friday, April 26. Catch eight incredible adventure films, some very special guests and surprise performances (courtesy of AspenOUT), and legendary 5 Point emcee Paddy O’Connell. Join the party after the show at El Dorado or Bodegon for live music, libations and festivities.
The film is centered around a group of 5 gay men of diverse ages and ethnicities, rafting the Green River while talking about our experiences being gay in America and how being in nature benefits us.
The 17th Annual 5Point Adventure Film Festival will take place April 24-28, 2024 in beautiful Carbondale, Colorado. Join us for our signature film programming as well as podcasts hosted by leaders in the industry, late night parties and music, panel discussions, and plenty of outdoor activities. Every dollar donated will go to non-profits that might often get overlooked, but do the most work.
Established as the Aspen Gay and Lesbian Community Fund (AGLCF), the organization grew with only one staff member and a Board of Directors to help maximize the profit for charity, anchored by Gay Ski Week as a grassroots fundraiser. While the RFGLCF/AspenOUT is best known for producing Aspen Gay Ski Week, we strive to support the development of a strong local Gay, Lesbian, Bi, and Transgender community with programs and initiatives including: The Art Base Partnership, CP Burger Youth Event, Carbondale Pride, Affirming Voices, and more. We invite you to become a part of AspenOUT, whether as a visitor, part-time resident, or full-time local.
We are always looking for new volunteers, future board members, and more. Let us know how you’d like to be involved with AspenOUT.
