Gay for Good Rocky Mountains is partnering with the Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation to help clean their resident bobcat cages by scraping up old bedding, hosing, disinfecting, and placing new bedding. Volunteers may also help rewrap bird perches with rope which helps prevent a foot infection called bumblefoot that’s common in captive birds and clean some of their resident bird cages as well.
Volunteers will receive a tour of the facility and get to the other residents housed at the facility. Our work will directly impact the bobcats, eagles, and black bird populations at the facility.
