    This one-week, full-day, immersive Animation Film Camp with Aspen Film is designed for teens who are curious and serious about learning to express themselves through animated storytelling, as well as to experience what it's like to be a part of a creative Team. Aspen Film partners with the Colorado Film School and the Red Brick Center for the Arts to provide experienced, bi-lingual educators to teach the camp. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE.     Join YouthZone’s The Space, a LGBTQIA+ youth peer-to-peer support group. We offer three peer groups from Parachute to Aspen. EVERY MONDAY 4:15 – 5:15 pm at YouthZone’s Rifle Office – 136 East 12th Street, Rifle, Colorado 81650 EVERY TUESDAY 4:00 – 5:00 pm at Glenwood CMC Campus – 1402 Blake Ave, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 EVERY WEDNESDAY 3:00 – 4:00pm at Basalt TACAW – 400 Robinson St, Basalt, CO 81621 No registration required.   • Mountain Pride Adventure Camp for Youth

    Enjoy a week of outdoor adventure camp with other LGBTQ+ identifying youth and youth allies!  Trained and experienced program leaders guide campers each day on new adventures together, exploring our incredible “backyard” around Eagle County. Participants are exposed to a variety of high adventure activities that  include hiking, outdoor rock climbing, stand-up paddle boarding, and daily debriefs with topics including Understanding Identity, Confidence and Self-Efficacy, Resiliency, and Sense of Belonging.   • AspenOUT Leadership & Scholarship Program Application Available

    AspenOUT is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Leadership & Scholarship Program. We are now accepting applications from Juniors and Seniors from Aspen High School, Basalt High School, Roaring Fork High School, CRMS and Glenwood High School. Leadership training will be based on a therapeutic recreation model and delivered by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Leadership Training will be 2 hours once a month from October through May. All participants who complete the program and the identified responsibilities will receive a $5,000 scholarship for college ($1,250 a year for four years) or vocational school (paid out based on number of years). Find the full program description HERE. Goals: 1. Empower young leaders to promote tolerance, inclusivity, compassion, and LGBTQ rights. 2. Strengthen the Gender & Sexualities (GSA) Clubs at involved area high schools. 3. Strengthen communications and fun interactions between high school GSAs in the Valley. 4. Provide scholarships for these leaders to attend college or vocational school. The application deadline is September 8, 2023 APPLY NOW HERE!
