FeaturedLiftUp Glenwood Springs 824 Cooper Avenue, Glenwood Springs, COJoin G4G Rocky Mountains as we once again partner with LiftUp to help those with food insecurities. SIGN UP HERE We are back in Glenwood this month to help those in need. We need volunteers to help prepare a meal and serve it to patrons coming in. Food needs to be soft in nature since many of the people have dental issues. Date: Monday, November 27, 2023 Time: 4:30pm-6:30pm Location: First United Methodist Church, 824 Cooper Ave, Glenwood (Entrance to basement is in rear of building) Additional Details: Donations would also be welcomed: Patrons have toiletry needs (think small bottles of body wash, deodorant, shampoo, etc.), small cans or bags of cat food and/or dog food is also encouraged since many have pet companions as well. Additionally, if you have any clothing you’d like to donate, bring that as well! We can always use bags of ice, bottled water or if someone would like to donate reusable water bottles (that’s even better), and to-go containers. Gay For Good mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader community.
