ROC DOC Film Camp with Aspen Film is headed to Basalt! SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVALABLE. During this two-week immersive camp, you will: • Make a short documentary film + a music video featuring students from the Rock and Roll Academy Roaring Fork • Learn filmmaking skills — storytelling, videography, editing, sound design + mixing • Use professional filmmaking equipment and editing software • Be part of a creative team • See your film on the big screen at Movieland • Have fun! Join other parents, caregivers and allies of LGBTQ+ loved ones to learn and support each other. Basalt - Every 3rd Monday at 6:30pm Glenwood Springs - Every 2nd Sunday at 6:30pm. In person and Zoom. Rifle - Coming Soon! It doesn't matter where you are in your journey of understanding and allyship for your loved ones; we will meet you where you're at and offer empathy, support, and chances to learn in a way that feels right for you. On the 4th Tuesday of each month, The Art Base and AspenOUT welcome our local LGBTQIA+ community and allies come together to socialize, make art, network, and have fun with or without an adult beverage. The class will feature a variety of projects in a variety of media. All levels are welcome. You will feel comfortable exploring creativity if you have no experience making art and have fun if you are an accomplished working artist, all in a safe environment, which is why Creations and Libations was conceived. $20/class. SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE. Click HERE to register. This week features Amanda Selsky - Drawing with Soft Pastels Bring a favorite fruit or vegetable to life through pastel drawing! This class will go through the techniques of using soft pastels, including composition, layering, color theory, and more. Bring home your very own colorful still life of a greater than life size fruit or vegetable.
